Four Ways to Listen

Every room can be calibrated for different experiences. We design four distinct modes — each with its own acoustic profile, dynamic range, and spatial character — because how you listen matters as much as what you hear.

Four Entertainment Modes

01

Movie Theater

The full cinematic experience. Extreme dynamic range from whisper to explosion, perfect dialogue intelligibility at every level, and subsonic bass below 20Hz that you feel in your chest.

Audio

Extreme dynamic range
Subsonic bass (below 20Hz)
Highly directional surround
Perfect dialogue at all levels
Full soundproofing

Video

High contrast projection
Bright in low/medium ambient light
Smooth natural motion processing
02

Concert Hall

Holographic reproduction where performers seem physically present in the room. Less extreme bass than cinema (to ~25Hz — the lowest piano note is 27.5Hz), but higher priority on three-dimensional soundstage and tonal accuracy.

Characteristics

Holographic aural reproduction
Performers materialize in the room
Natural frequency response to ~25Hz
Wide, deep soundstage
Plausibly realistic — never analytical
03

Cocktail Lounge

Even sound distribution throughout the room. Music present but never overwhelming — contoured so it doesn't compete with live conversation. Intelligent compression across frequency bands for smooth continuous background.

Characteristics

Even distribution throughout room
Limited dynamic range for consistency
Contoured to not interfere with conversation
Intelligent frequency-band compression
Wide range of potential levels
04

Relaxation

High quality at lower levels. Bass and treble are boosted to counteract the psychoacoustic effect that makes quiet music sound thin. Smooth levels and gentle transitions between recordings — nothing jarring.

Characteristics

Boosted bass & treble at low levels
Psychoacoustic compensation
Smooth transitions between recordings
Limited dynamic range
Nothing jarring or sudden

Projection & Screening

From motorized projector lifts that descend from the ceiling to art panels that rotate to reveal screens — we design video systems that appear only when you want them.

Motorized Projection

Draper AeroLift motorized lifts, precision-aligned projectors, and screens from 100" to 150" — all hidden when not in use.

Screen Technology

Screen Innovations Pure Gray and Black Diamond screens optimized for ambient light rejection and color accuracy.

Hidden Displays

Motorized folding TVs, cabinet-integrated displays, and rotating art-to-TV panels that blend into your interior design.

Surround Lighting

Active ambient lighting that maps screen colors into the room — extending the visual experience beyond the screen’s borders.
