A home is a complete sensory environment.

Four domains — sound & vision, water & air, light & control, and the kitchen — held to a single standard.

Sound & Vision

The room is the instrument.

Sound begins long before the speaker. We isolate listening rooms from elevator shafts and building risers. We decouple subfloors. We source MBL Radialstrahlers from Berlin, engineer bass into the architecture itself, and treat every surface so the music arrives exactly as it was recorded.

A room that can hold a whisper and a symphony — built for people who can tell the difference.

Water & Air

The water you drink. The air you breathe.

Municipal water was engineered for a different era. We filter to laboratory standards at the main line — removing PFAS, heavy metals, and microplastics while preserving the minerals that make water taste like water — then optimize every point of use, from the espresso line to the bath.

The air gets the same rigor: six layers of protection, from HEPA filtration and SecureAire active particle control to humidity held to 40–60% — all through ducting quieter than a whisper.

Kitchen

The thermal behavior of induction.

TPB Tech induction from Barcelona — the technology behind Cocina Hermanos Torres — flush-mounted into any countertop, finished in the porcelain-ceramic of your choice. Full-surface heat. Precision from 60°C to 240°C. Cook anywhere on the counter. The cooktop disappears into the stone.

Supported by knives hand-honed in Seki, Japan; cookware from Belgium, France, and Germany; and water-system integration so the ingredients and the infrastructure are held to the same bar.

Light & Control

The room should meet the day.

Circadian lighting tuned to the sun's angle. Shading calibrated against glare in glass towers. Biometric access that doesn't read as security. Networks run locally, not on the cloud. Technology that responds before you ask — and disappears when you don't need it.

Built on Crestron, orchestrated into one coherent home. Engineered so a visitor can turn a knob and get exactly what a dozen concealed systems are already doing.

A Musician’s Ear. A Technologist’s Rigor.

Bryan Bilgore founded Sensorium in 2007 with a music degree from Harvard and an MBA from Columbia. Before building home technology systems, he was a professional trumpet player and a programmer.

That combination — a musician's ear for quality, a technologist's rigor, and a business mind focused on outcomes — shapes everything about how Sensorium works. Every project is personally overseen. Every system is evaluated for how it sounds, feels, and performs in real life.

Sensorium is a consultative, one-on-one service. You work directly with Bryan and a small team who know your home, your preferences, and the long-term vision for your space.

Approach

“This firm pairs deep-bench engineering know-how with genuine wellness insight: from circadian-tuned lighting, to air-quality management, and intuitive control into one cohesive platform… the result is a living environment that feels as good as it sounds.”

Richard S. · Google Review

“Rare artists when it comes to designing, installing, and updating reference home theater, audiophile listening rooms, and whole-home integration. Also live venues and landmark retail and dining.”

J B. · Los Angeles, CA

“Bryan will assemble different systems to accomplish your dreams… a place to discover new boutique brands from the US and the rest of the world, as well as new concepts and techniques.”

Bob F. · Manhattan, NY

Technologies You Won’t Find Elsewhere

When the best technology in a category has no US presence, we travel, vet, and bring it ourselves. TPB Tech, WET-Global, and Hauck Vibra don’t exist in American homes unless Sensorium placed them there.
