Who we are

Sensorium House (“Sensorium,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a residential and commercial technology integration practice based in New York City. This policy applies to information we collect through this website. It does not cover information collected offline or through a separate signed agreement, which is governed by the terms of that agreement.

Information you provide

We only collect personal information you choose to give us. Specifically:

• Contact inquiries. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, optional mobile phone number, area of interest, and any details you include about your project.
• Newsletter signups. When you subscribe, we collect your email address.
• Text alert consent. If you tick the optional SMS alerts box, we also record that you consented — the mobile number, the date and time, the originating IP address, the page you consented on, and the exact wording you agreed to. We keep this so we can demonstrate your consent if a mobile carrier asks us to.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting and form infrastructure may automatically log basic technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This information helps us keep the site secure and understand how it is used. We do not use it to identify you personally.

How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to your inquiry and discuss a potential project;
• Send you the newsletter and updates you have requested;

Text messages (SMS)

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We send automated service alerts by text only to clients who have opted in — for example a window left open, a water leak, or a device going offline on a system we installed and maintain. You opt in by ticking the SMS alerts box on our contact form; it is never ticked for you.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by replying STOP to any message, after which we stop sending them. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details below. Mobile numbers collected for alerts are used for those alerts only — never for marketing.

If you have unsubscribed and want alerts again, reply START to the same number. That is the only way to resume them: ticking the SMS alerts box on our contact form again will not restart texts to a number that has unsubscribed, because the block is held by our messaging provider rather than by us. We keep your consent and opt-out records either way, so that we can show both that you consented and that your withdrawal was honored. Full details are on our SMS Alerts page.

Service providers

We rely on trusted third-party providers to host this website and process form submissions on our behalf. These providers may process your information only to provide services to us, and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies necessary for it to function and remain secure. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when they are used; some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

Data retention

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described here — to respond to your inquiry, maintain our relationship, or meet legal requirements — after which we delete or anonymize it.

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• Ask us to correct or delete that information.
